As its name suggests, the MultiPlus is a device that combines an inverter and a charger in a single enclosure. Among its many features, it includes a pure sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, as well as multiple system integration functions.
PowerAssist
The MultiPlus will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a shore connection or generator. The battery charging process will first be automatically reduced; otherwise, an overload would occur. Next, the output of a generator or shore supply will be boosted by drawing power from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function)
In the event of a grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power, the inverter inside the Multi automatically activates and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The transfer is so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that the operation of computers or other electronic equipment will not be disrupted.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 units can operate in parallel to achieve more output power. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.
Remote monitoring and control
When connected to a GX device (e.g., a Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control your MultiPlus and system(s) either locally (via LAN) or remotely (via the Internet) from anywhere in the world using the free VRM app and the free VRM website. Access is available via phone, tablet, laptop, or PC across different operating systems. The level of control is virtually unlimited—whether adjusting your MultiPlus settings, starting your backup generator automatically, and much more.
