The Volthium 48V 100Ah ABS battery in the 8D format is specifically manufactured for electric boat customers, sailboats (for inverters), motorized vehicles, and golf carts.

To meet ABYC requirements (e.g., Standard E-13), this battery features a Volthium-exclusive case with 2 RJ45 (Ethernet) communication ports, allowing the transmission of the battery's internal data to monitoring systems. By adding our Smart Bridge to the system, the user can access the dedicated Volthium app, enabling Bluetooth access to all relevant battery data. The user can also set up audio and/or visual alerts to be notified before the battery's automatic shutdown. Alerts can be set for a specific SOC% chosen by the user, as well as for high and low temperature warnings. This feature is available on several Volthium batteries.

Our 48V 100Ah batteries, like all our batteries over 100Ah, have easy and reserved access to the BMS, making them easily repairable if needed.

This new generation of batteries is also equipped with a stainless steel ON/OFF button that allows you to disable discharge while keeping recharge enabled. This is extremely convenient when you want to leave the batteries connected to the solar system during storage, eliminating the fear of them being drained by parasitic discharges.

Not only does this LiFePO4 accumulator withstand vibrations, but it also has a superior discharge range compared to the competition. In fact, this battery can be discharged down to -25 degrees, instead of -20 degrees like the competition. And if you opt for the self-heating version, it can be recharged down to -40 degrees. This innovation is possible because the cells in Volthium batteries come from the automotive industry.

The core of the BMS is produced by the American company Texas Instrument. This manufacturer of BMS microcontrollers is recognized worldwide in the field of electric automobiles, in addition to its long-standing collaboration with NASA and the U.S. Army. The programming and communication protocols are entirely developed by our engineers in Quebec.

Cells :

The quality of LFP cells is paramount. Indeed, they are the ones that will ensure you to have a durable product and whose long-term performances will be faithful.

The 24V ABS solar storage batteries are equipped with GRADE A+ prismatic cells, manufactured by Volkswagen Group.
