Volthium batteries can offer Bluetooth functionality in 2 different forms. Some of our batteries offer an integrated Bluetooth functionality built right into the battery itself, or for the latest batteries, you need to add a Bluetooth adapter Bluetooth Module to your battery (not included with the battery) to take advantage of Bluetooth functionality. The reason for this change is Volthium’s desire to enable its customers to upgrade their systems to take advantage of Bluetooth functionality without having to change the batteries.
Determine the Volthium application you need
Batteries with integrated Bluetooth functionality:
Android :
If your battery offers integrated Bluetooth functionality, you need to download the “Volthium” application available on Android.
iOS :
If your battery has built-in Bluetooth functionality, you’ll need to download the “Volthium Energy” app, available on iOS.
Batteries with external Bluetooth functionality:
WARNING! You need to add a Bluetooth Module to your system (not included with battery purchase).

Android :
If your battery offers Bluetooth functionality with the addition of a Bluetooth Dongle, you need to download the “Volthium Monitor” application available on Android.
iOS :
If your battery offers Bluetooth functionality with the addition of a Bluetooth Dongle, you’ll need to download the “Volthium Monitor” app available on iOS.
General information :
When you open the respective mobile application, you’ll come to the battery scan menu. You don’t need to go into your mobile device’s settings to establish a Bluetooth connection. No pairing button needs to be pressed to pair your battery with your mobile device. The application will detect your battery within a radius of less than 6 meters.
The data provided in the application will be accurate once the battery has been fully charged with a compatible charger.
When the battery is in standby mode, the voltage data on the battery terminals and on the app may differ by up to 0.7 V. Once in charge or discharge mode, the data will be identical. The voltage on the application is always the most accurate, as it is taken directly from the cell block.
