The Victron Energy MultiPlus 12/2000/80-50 120V VE. Bus Converter/Charger (UL Certified) is a powerful pure sine wave inverter.
This sophisticated battery charger, featuring adaptive charging technology as well as a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single, compact package, will prevent overcharging of limited AC sources, such as a generator or shore power connection.
In the event of a grid failure or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the MultiPlus’ inverter is automatically activated and takes over the power supply to connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption.

Thus, the MultiPlus, taking into account other AC loads, will only use the excess for battery charging, thus avoiding overcharging of the generator or dock.
PowerAssist – Increased dock or generator capacity.
MultiPlus, by applying the principles of PowerControl to another dimension, will be able to complement the capacity of the alternative source.
When peak power is only required for a limited period of time, the MultiPlus will ensure that insufficient power from the dock or generator is compensated for by battery power.
Four-stage adaptive charger and two-bank battery charging The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system using ‘Adaptive Charge’ software.
The software automatically adjusts the three-step process based on the battery condition, then adds a fourth step for long periods of floating charging.

Easier system setup After installation, the system is ready to go and if something needs to change, it is possible with the DIP switch adjustment in minutes.
